Because the original two-story church became unsafe for further occupancy due to extreme aging of the supporting wooden beams and stone foundation, it was torn down in 2004 and a new church was erected in 2005 with the following characteristics:

• Handicap accessible – wide doors, handicap approved rest room, handicap parking
• Connection from church-proper to social hall
• Adult Sunday school classroom and church office
• Modern sound system
• Kitchen facility next to social hall
• Outdoor pavillion – roof and lights
• Beautiful memorial garden adjacent to church
